Ireland’s Philip Dunne narrowly failed to reach the Final Stepladder in the Irish Open Tenpin Bowling Championship, finishing just 6 skittles off a Top 4 Place.

Britain’s Del Delaney went on to win the Championship, defeating the Dutchman Mat Thompson 188 to 163 in the Final. Ireland’s Paul Magee (8th) and Joe Pearce (12th) also reached the Semi-Final Round in the Stillorgan Bowl

Englishman P. Whitlock took home the top prize in the Leinster Open Championships held at Riverview in Dublin. He beat O. Ryan in three straight sets to take the Men’s Grade A Title.

The Top Women’s Title went to R. Best who beat B. Conway in 4 sets after dropping the first.[1]
